Thank you for taking the time to visit My Chevy Nova.com website. This website contains information about muscle cars, classics, antiques and great cars from yesteryear. The site is dedicated to the Chevy Nova and the Chevy Nova SS from the early years to the final make of the Nova in 1979. Thanks for stopping by. Also, this website lists most area & surrounding states car show events on the WV Car Shows.Com tab.

The Chevrolet Chevy II/Nova is a compact automobile manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors produced in five generations for the 1962 through 1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. Nova was the top model in the Chevy II lineup through 1968. The Chevy II nameplate was dropped, Nova becoming the nameplate for the 1969 through 1979 models. Built on the X-body platform, the Nova was replaced by the 1980 Chevrolet Citation introduced in the spring of 1979. The Nova nameplate returned in 1985, produced through 1988 as a NUMMI manufactured, subcompact based on the front wheel drive, Japan home-based Toyota Sprinter. (Source Wikipedia)

WV Car Shows & Cruz-Ins

West Virginia (WV) car shows is dedicated to hot rods, muscle car, antiques, trucks, motorcycles enthusiasts in and around WV, OH, KY, VA, TN, PA. Several years ago I was trying to locate local car show events and it was almost impossible. So, this website was born. I am using the backend of www.mychevynovass.com for simplicity sake, and we hope you will peruse the content of this entire site.

We would appreciate you and/or your car club sending us a list of events for the coming year so it can be added herein. I've used the event list provided by Rod Young for several years and that has been a tremendous resource. But, with Rods health declining he is no longer able to maintain his list of events. So, I now am completly dependent on your club, church, non-profit group or event committee to provide us with your event(s). Please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with information about your event and we'll get it listed here and on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/wvcarshows. If you have questions, please feel free to email or login to our Facebook page.

WV Car Shows and Cruise-Ins (cruz-ins) is proud to provide car shows & cruise in schedules for this area!!

Featured-1968 Camaro

This early model Camaro features a fantastic black paint scheme with a 502 big block powerhouse engine. When Glen starts the engine, the ground thumps from the powerful hotrod. This is a new project just completed in 2012.

Chevy Nova History

The Nova traces its roots to the 1962 model year, when it came to the rescue of a division that had put its compact-car "eggs" in one fragile basket....called the Chevrolet Corvair.

One of the great-looking rods at the cruise-in at the Putman County Bank in 2012, sponsored by the Nitro Antique Car Club. Check out www.wvcarshows.com for a complete list of "cruise-in and car show" events in the region.

This chopped 57 Chevy was gorgeous

I saw this 1957 Chevy at the Pigeon Forge Grand Rod Run in the spring of 2012. It captured a lot of attention sitting beside the main road. It was a transformation well done.

This  great looking truck featured in Huntington, WV

This great looking truck was featured at a show on the streets of Huntington, WV during the summer of 2015. One of the many trucks and well built rides at this event.
